Do you have any idea how many people would be temp-banned from the country during Wicked's first week in office? My guess is around 15% of the population.

good. they need it. Only 1% of the current adult population is in prison (sounds like a long-term ban or possibly perma-ban) I know there is another 14% that needs a temp-ban.....or at least a good ass kicking.

well, since you're using fictional characters (wicked), i hereby nominate Betty Rubble for this poll, and refuse to vote until a new thread is created, with her as an option.

Presidents need to be american, for some reason. (Probably because all the other countries are either communist or full of black people.)

I kinda think its fair enough that the leader of the country should be from that country.
Wacky of me, I know.

That debatably infringes on every non-US-citizen US-resident's human right to fully participate in the political process.

you know, that part of the Constitution stems from the (understandable) xenophobia of the framers. the worst thing that could've happened to the new republic was that an English Torie would come in and carry the vote to the Presidency, and return America to the subjugation suffered under the tyranny of King George.
oddly enough, 200 some odd years later, we suffer under the tyranny of a new George, this time, homegrown.
which i think has led to many people questioning that part of the constitution. but still, i agree with it. it seems like the most reasonable way to ensure the candidate has a vested interest in acting in the best interest of the USA.

to put this in an American way -
"Well, D'uh! We like, totally don't get to, like, y'know, vote, if you know what I'm saying!"
Oh, and also "Go figure! Who knew!"
(and they say Americans have no sense of irony - they have three different ways of being ironic, as just shown)

Maybe I should have put JenniferMarie on there as a fourth option. Did you know so many CCer's were anti-female? 36% for no women president?!?

Or maybe it's just that they don't want hillary or wiki and so they vote "no women!" since there is no "none of the above"

US non-citizen residents have NO participation in the political process, since they don't get to vote.
Their right to "fully participate" is not infringed by not being allowed to stand for president - since they don't have any right to participate whatsoever.
Sorry if that didn't come through in my previous sarcastic reply.
But, as I've said elsewhere, we still have to pay taxes.
Hmm, "taxation without representation". Seems I've heard that somewhere before.
