Who's gonna win?

Has to be calzaghe for me, hopkins is past it.

Any other brits staying up to watch it?

And is anyone watching Harrison fighting a bum they found in the street?

Funny stories....

jason barnett actually posts at a boxing board that im on regularly. It was pretty cool, he talked a fair amount about it over the week. Obviously he will still get crushed, but its a great oppertunity for him.

I think at this point its going to be hard for B-Hop to do a whole lot against the off-tempo stuff that calzaghe does in there. And i dont know if he still carries the type of power to keep joe away, though he wobbled tarver. I think it seems like there are a few possible outcomes.

Bernard defies the critics -figures out joes pace and does to him what he often does to guys who dont do what they do as well as he does and wins another career defining wide UD - seems kinda unlikely.

Joe does what he has done in the last few fights - raises his game everytime his opponent raises theirs, and just overwhelms hopkins with pace and wins his own wide ud - more possible

Joe and Bernard fight relatively unexciting (to the layman) rounds more often than not, and in a tough call between if you like work rate or boxing skills, Joe calzaghe wins a UD that ends up being wider on the scorecards than most ringside observers think - my own professional opinion.

eh...lets just say no one on the forum (including himself) was buying food and drink for the victory party.

He took the fight on pretty short notice, i think he correctly saw it as a pretty no lose oppertunity...especially when you consider a guy like harrison, talented for sure, but has been known to have pretty frequent off-nights.
