Cats in the cradle
My child arrived just the other day;
Came to the world in a whore-house stairway
But there were folks to mug, dealers to pay
She learned to jack-up while I was away
She was on the job before I knew.

"When you comin' home dad ?"

"Giro day on thursday, then?"
Well, she came from prison just the other day,
Dressed like a slut, I just had to say,
"Put some clothes on you whore! your dressed like trash"
She shook her head, said she needed some cash
"What I'd really like, Dad, is to borrow your crack pipe.
See you later. Can I have it please ?"

Now I'm fiddling disabilities, and doon the pob.

And as I hung up the phone it occurred to me,
She'd grown up just like me.
My girl was just like me.
