glad you think so,
I just don't understand how in a question that is which is better, somehow the answer ends up being YES

Well I don't want to act like I can see into richard's mind, but what I think he meant was that he thinks both are great and neither of them is the best.

DC has that tradition and some of the best superheroes, but marvel has a lot of good superheroes too. They're different in too many ways to rate one as the best, only personal taste can determine which one you find more interresting.

that makes sense,
personally I'm a Marvel man myself, never been a superman or batman guy. The only DC I used to read was green arrow and green lantern.

Never really been into comic books to begin with. Maybe read a little bit at the store, but not much else.

American comics are vastly inferior to European comics anyway.

Since when does Europe have comics (other then the whole Muhammed with the bomb on his head thing)?

Old school.

Speaking of which: Ken Paker(that is one short wiki text about one of the greatest comic sagas ever :x , Tex Willer, Lazarus Ledd(I especially like those corny stories like "Heroes" and "Glory" ), Magic Wind, Martin Mystere(not to be mistaken for this abomination. This is the kind of things that can make a normal person wish force-feed lard to every single person responsible for making that. )
