I hope you are joking. Even if you are, it is still pretty inconsiderate seeing as there might be many people on this board that may know someone who has died as a result of some asshole driving drunk.

if we don't want to swing for a cab when we go out, we hike our butts down to the bar. i swear, the walk home helps with the hangover. fresh air. it doesn't take much to get a DUI at all.

It is stupid. Not only can it potentially kill people but it can really screw up your life too. I'm living example of how it can put your life on hold. I was lucky that I never killed anybody but for God's sake learn a lesson from idiots like me.

I agree with ^^these two^^: it is........

Inconsiderate
Illegal
Lethal

And while I have had the occasional drink, I have never been slobbering drunk and I most definately have never driven while inebriated(sp?). That is for good reasons that should go without saying.

No! It is the stupidest thing to do. As was mentioned, get a cab or call someone sober! (I got a DUI once, I will never get another one, mostly because I quit drinking alcohol).

Might as well ask if it's smart shoot yourself in the foot with a shotgun. Seriously, it's an incredibly stupid thing to do.

So is playing soccar on the freeway. Honestly, questions like this make me wonder if I'm the only sane person out there.

i may or may not have walked home from the bar in order to avoid driving drunk this evening....

as the good folks in michigan say...if you drink and drive...you lose.

 :?

Really. You're asking? Some non-profit companies are wasting a lot of advertising money.

But really: I'm underage, and I drink, but I would never think of driving after a drink, or letting one of my friends drive drunk. Drinking isn't in itself dumb, unless you go and do something incredibly stupid while doing so. Driving is way towards the top of that list, behind only things like piloting a helicopter, climbing out a skyscraper window, or wandering into a mall waving a gun.

Everyone has certain levels of sanity, depending on the situation and the what not. Take me for example, I am (hopefully) fairly sane, but at the most random of times, I start counting, either verbally or mentally, by 12s or 24s up to 120 several times. Possibly a slight case of OCD from what I have learned, but I am not quite sure.

I have a friend with a mild obsession with 3. It's probably more common than we might expect. 12 is a new one on me, though.
