Anyone remember this show?

I don't see it on reruns anymore, they should bring back a new cast and start over! This show really rocked back in the day, even though it was somewhat cheesy. At least I wasn't bored when I watched it.

You know, if you are really into SciFi and shows that take place in a famous place in history, yet do not really follow history much at all (one episode had them at the Siege of Troy), then I guess it would be ok (other then the shoddy acting and special effects that is).

I used to watch it every week. Right after (or before??) Conan the Barbarian.

Conan the barbarian is so... shouty. You have ear-ache after you watched it. Stupid british humor. Can be funny sometimes though.

This was definitely NOT a British show. They might have affected British accents, but that's only to let you know that it's set in the PAST.

After scouring Wikipedia, I've become convinced that the show I'm thinking of didn't exist.

Anyone remember when came on right before (or after?) Xena (when it originally aired)? It was about a warrior man with long blond hair.

Yeah, it was Hercules. Hercules came before Xena, and Xena was a spin off of Hercules.

But for some damn reason, Xena was a better show than Herc was, in my opinion.

The show was so, I don't know...what's the word?

yeah, Xena had a certain je ne sais quoi... I guess the best way to describe is that she makes you want to say, "when Captain Frosting gets done with your hairy bingle bangle, it's gonna look like a rat in a rainstorm when i'm done with my love paints."

Why a new cast.

I would be happy for Lucy Lawless to reprise the role.

Barring that... my vote would be for the woman who is Wicked's Avatar.
;)
