Obama is a JOKE!!!!!..not to say that Hillary isn't

personally, I think it is disgusting that IF and when Obama becomes the next president ( God I hope not) that he will never even swear in on the Holy Bible......isn’t that what our friggen country was based and formed upon, isn’t that what we have been dealing with for some time now. CHANGE IS GOOD BUT TOO MUCH CHANGE IS HARMFUL...what happens next?? They don’t have to even stay at the white house, they can take weeks off at a time...they can skip a state of the union address. ITS TRADITION PEOPLE...come on get with the program. To be somewhere and when the Pledge of Allegiance is being said...again that is a pledge to our country... To not place a hand on the heart or even attempt to show respect!!!! CHANGE IS GOOD BUT TOO MUCH CHANGE IS HARMFUL!! Also here is an EXACT quote from the church that Obama is from...."A congregation with a non-negotiable COMMITMENT TO AFRICA." ---so what happens when something that has to do with Africa comes up and Obama says..."NO" we will not do that...and if he does is abolished from his church and ridiculed forever...not the man I want leading our country. He is just to gosh darn ARROGANT!!!! So before you people walk into the polls in the upcoming primaries, and God I hope you do....THINK before you vote don’t just vote Obama because it’s the "cool" thing to do. I hate when people are ridiculed for being a Hillary fan in a public place b/c they are a man... That’s BS. Don’t vote Obama to be cool...VOTE on what YOU BELIEVE not what the media displays to you.
And just so you know, here is a recent stat from the exit polls in the past primaries.... in many states Obama has captured 93% or more in many places of African American votes....9% of which have gone to college. Also very recently Obama has been swinging the white vote to his side...Out of those two groups, when asked....Obama's stance on Health care??....12% answered correctly......when asked Obamas stance on Border control?? 14% answered correctly...WHEN ASKED WHAT RELIGION HE WAS?? 4% answered correctly. When asked where he was from?? 49% answered correctly. THOSE NUMBERS ARE ALAMRING..that tells me people are voting for him and they don’t even know what he is about....and im not saying Hillary voters aren’t as unintelligent...all im saying is that this election(the democratic nomination process) at least is becoming a POPULARITY CONTEST....AND A HISTORY MAKING CONTEST its all about the first this person and that person....one last time guys....before hitting the polls THINK AND RESEARCH FACTS ABOUT NOMINEES BEFORE GOING IN AND DOING WHAT YOUR FRIENDS THINK IS "in"...Thanks guys(for those who read this)

Obama does place his hand over his heart during the Pledge of Allegiance, and if you watch the video of this "hand over heart" incident, you will see that Obama is looking at the singer, who is a black woman, and he is singing with her! I don't see any of the other people on stage singing along? Do you? Maybe they are the ones who are unpatriotic? You are full of hot air, and none of this has any weight. It is meaningless tripe, trying to taint Obama's image before the Presidential election. Obama loves America and Americans, ALL AMERICANS! So you can take your negative smear campaign somewhere else. Obama's got a ton more sense than McCain, is a ton more intellectual, is not a racist, is quite a bit younger, and is a strong symbol for change of which our country sorely needs right now.

I haven't totally decided on Obama or McCain, but I am leaning more to Obama. It is a tough decision, since I am a Republican, but there are many Republicans voting Dem this coming election. That's the major reason they chose McCain to represent the party. He is a very liberal Republican, plus he is a war hero. I don't believe Obama to be a joke, I take him very seriously, at the same time, I need to take McCain just as serious (even though I call him a lunatic and a crazy old fart). McCain could, in my opinion, choose Huckabee for a running mate and I may be persuaded to vote Republican this election. I haven't ruled out McCain, but as of now, I think we need someone with some charisma and youth in office.

Um what is this about Obama not being Christian? I stopped reading at him not swearing on the Bible.

He is a Christian, not a fucking Muslim! And who honestly gives a f*ck? (don't answer that question...)

This is old antiObama propaganda being pushed by racist biggots. I received this e'mail about Obama not being a patriot and swearing into office on the Quran...it is all lies!

OBAMA having more knowledge than McCain..lol...what a joke...hes a lonley little chicago senator that has no idea what washington is about and if he does get ill be laughing on his first day when he gets there and says...What do I do Now!!...good luck figuring your party out but in the meantime McCain is gathering information on both and is ready to knock either one of them back to here they belong...A SENATOR...not the PRESIDENT!!!!

... Hey DaGip, I don't want to get on a negative track with you here, cause' I like Obama, but I have to know on what you are basing your assessments of John McCain, as "non-intellectual, and a racist" (can't argue the age point, obviously).

I was initially planning to vote for Obama. -Youthful, charismatic, well-educated and just the right person to turn things around.
But then I read about his affiliation with The Trinity United Church of Christ.

Wanting to give him the benefit of the doubt, I checked into it at http://www.TUCC.org.

My stance is now that NO ONE, regardless of the color of their skin, should declare loyalty to another continent or single race of people and expect the rest to believe he will act on the best behalf of ALL Americans.

It's also noteworthy that Rev. Jeremy Wright, of TUCC is closely associated with Louis Farakhan, but if you don't believe me all you've got to do is go to http://www.TUCC.org.

I said I believed Obama to be more intellectual, not that McCain is non-intellectual, and McCain being a racist, read this aritcle of which you have heard nothing about:

McCain hates GOOKS!

I do want to mention that I think McCain is a bit off his rocker, and is not mentally fit for office. I haven't ruled him out, but I am leaning more towards Obama.

Perhaps a little hypocritical coming from the Confederate flag. Maybe your 'Obama should properly represent America" lecture should wait until after you finish sponsoring racist, secession ideals, hmmm?

Ah, you're got it all wrong, my friend!

Elijah flies the Confederate flag as his avatar to promote his MAP! Or did you not catch on to that?

=D>

Not to mention that McCain said he supported gay marriage and then flipflopped and said he didn't support legalizing gay marriage. I am sick of all the double talk. That's another reason i am leaning towards Obama. McCain has been caught too many times (as well as Hillary) saying one thing and then turning around and saying another.

That is a load of crap, he can put a banner in his sig to do that, or he could put up a new thread in like. That is just total bull!

Ah! My mistake, then. No hard feeling?

Let there be no doubt, though: I am not supporting Obama. I'd vote for Kucinich or no one. Incidentally, as a Canadian, it seems I'll be voting for no one.

Ay, maybe I should've put one of those [/sarcasm] tags on it, hmm?

I agree totally with you, browng, if you go to the Obama is racist thread, you'll find that we've already had an uproar about it...

DaGip, I don't understand you at all.

You have a thread posting a bunch of videos bashing McCain, the links being long rants about how crazy he is, and how we shouldn't vote for him.

I pretty much agree with that, OK.

Now you say you're still considering him?

I think you're the crazy one. How could you possibly consider voting for someone you believe to be mentally incapable of office? Do you have that low an opinion of Obama and/or Hillary?

Uhhh, DaGip...I believe OBAMA has been caught with his pants down on flip-flopping!! lol

once again you must know the facts before saying somthing!!

Obama origanally voted NO NO NO NO NO on Iraq...then in the blink of an eye he voted two times YES and YES supporting an additional surge and reinforcements to be sent (along with most of the party) and then went back to NO NO NO NO NO.. he was NO then YES then NO again...a classic fip-flop

Do you honestly believe politicians don't all flip-flop? They're frickin' politicians, dammit, that's like their job description!

McCain is hardly the straight-shooter he says he is.
