I was wondering how Europeans felt about Ronald Reagan. He wasn't very well liked during his presidency, but when Communism fell, perhaps European attitudes changed. I was just curious on people's views on The Gip?

Reagan had nothing to do with the fall of Communsim.
He was weak, inefficient, of mediocre intellect and...well, a gimp.
Probably a laugh to go down the pub with - but thats not the best criterion on which to judge the leader of the free world.

Nap is bang on again. Both complete dicks. De Gaulle could probably count up to twenty though.

These pictures bring tears to my eyes. I have been to his library in Simi Valley a few times. Living in California makes that easy. Saw airforce one last time i was there.

Check out this protester that snuck up behind Reagan as he was giving a speech:
"Exuse me, President Reagan, but...(uhhhh!)"
Funny stuff!

Heh. I like the one where he was campaigning and told a heckler:
"Ah, shaddup."

Disreali, Teddy Roosevelt-stand aside. What a comical genius Reagan was

Reagan saved the US economy, and ushered in the great era of growth in the 90s, as well as being possibly the most important factor in ending the Cold War through his velvet glove of Great Communication and iron fist of military Keynesianism, which had the unfortunate consequence of creating a large deficit, but I honestly believe that Reagan was one of the few men who actually used Keynesian theory in a hugely beneficial way. Credit to him, he stood down the Soviets. May he Rest in Peace.

He played a war hero in the movies! It's fun to pretend when you're acting.
