Okay so the boys and girls club in my town runs a big basketball tourney that all the good aau teams and state champs come. its high level competition and most of the games are good. So we win Friday night by 3 and today were playing a team from Boston.We trade baskets early but then they hit two 3s and go into halftime up 7.so we cant really cut into the lead and with a minute left were down 7. we hit one free throw then miss get the rebound a cut it to 4. we make a quick steal and get the basket and the foul . they miss the free throw and i grab the rebound and tie the game up. Then with 3 seconds left we foul and the kids hits both to go up 2. I throw a hail mary pass to a teammate who NAILS the jumper. so we go crazy and the overtime is first to 5( weird i know). so after we hit 3 free throws i go coast to coast after a steal and lay it in for th win.

My team (baseball) was down 9-1 in the 6th inning (we played 7) and we came back to win 12-9

So I was at the state chess final of my senior year, playing Board 1 since the usual Board 1 got pulled from the team for bad grades. We were up against one of the higher ranked schools, and considering that we were only 3-2 so far our hopes weren't exactly high. I played their first board, who had gone undefeated so far, pretty well (aside from a pawn I couldn't hang onto) until about 30 moves in I missed an obvious pin that lost my rook to his bishop. Although things at first seemed pretty dismal, I realized that under a proper trade I could get my pawn back and end up only being down a rook to a bishop. After playing passively for a while and trading off most of our major pieces, he moved his last rook into a very aggressive position, and there was no way for me to stop him from gobbling most of my pawns: just what I was hoping for. After a little maneuvering and a bishop sack I had two connected passed pawns on his 6th rank, and he didn't have enough time to bring his overly aggressive pieces back to stop my promotion. After I won our 4th board grabbed me by the soldiers and told me I was a fucking hero. We won the match by a few points and went on to win the last round to end with a record of 5-2. What made it even better was that two of our best players weren't there, and even with them we were only hoping for a 4-3. Best weekend of my life.

the cowboys down by 2 points with 4 seconds left and they took out the field goal kicker out and he kicked it through the posts 2 times in a row for more then 50 yards. he kicked the first but the time was called. then he kicked a second time and he made it. that was this season to. it was the sunday night game.

This season I've saved us from a loss twice already. Both times I was the last person playing on our team. The first one was almost sheer luck, I was down by one Knight but spotted a combination through which I could get my opponents Rook, I didn't want to push my luck however and 10 moves later we agreed to a draw which secured us the 3 - 3.
The next game was 3 - 2 against us, I had to win. Luckily I had played a very aggressive game taking two of the other guys pawns in front of his King at the cost of a bishop and managed to use one of my Knights and my second Bishop to keep the King from getting away and my opponents other pieces from easily getting there. I kept up the pressure, got a third pawn, a Bishop at no cost and set him checkmate a little later. Didn't work today though, but then again, that team is undefeated in 6 games.
