Old people!

Masket's thread made me think of this:

I glare at old people. Not just any old people, but driving old people. I hate them. Fucking driving old people. There is nothing quite like watching an old person pull into a parking spot that is straight in front of them, mind you, and observing that they are so crooked that they are taking up three spots. What the f*ck?!

This brings me to another point:

If you park, and notice that you are on a line, you should back up and try again. Seriously, this does not make you less of a person. I am an excellent parker (including parallel), and I will squeeze my shitty Camry in between two massive pickup trucks that are on both of my lines because I know that if their dumb ass hits me, it's their problem. You can pay for my new quarter panel.

I've also considered leaving notes for people discussing (with much foul language) their parking abilities. I really hate bad parking.

Anyhow, what do ya'll think should be done about bad drivers? If someone is a hazard on the road, what should be done about them?

It's true.

LET THIS BE THE SOLUTION TO ALL ROAD RAGE PROBLEMS!
you'll have to click on "spy hunter", and THAT is the solution.

I seriously lapse into flashbacks every time I hear the Peter Gunn theme...

I think I have better things to get so upset about. If someones bad parking is the only thing that could go wrong in my day than that would be a blessing.
Good for you for being able to park your little Camry.

We all have our pet peeves. Mine is against a form of sloppiness. Are you a sloppy parker, Stymie?

No, I don't think I am a sloppy parker. I have to park a 4X4 Dodge Diesel Mega Cab Pick-Up Truck with a 18 ft. Goose-neck trailer in some pretty tight spots sometimes. Just parking the truck with out the trailer can be pretty challenging at times. :)

Yesterday as we were leaving work my coworker got mad at a guy for parking too close to his truck.

Sound logical so far, right?

But my coworker was the one that parked over the line and was part way into the parking spot next to his truck!

I pointed that out to him, his reasoning was "but I parked there first! This other guy parked after me and squeezed his Jeep into that little spot!"

He had to climb in his truck from the passenger side.

I just walked away, giving kudos to the Jeep guy and shaking my head at my coworker.

I'm a good driver. I did get a speeding ticket once. I have a tough time parking big pickups and I do have to back up, once and sometimes twice. I did just fine with my little car. And if i get the truck close enough to being arked decent then I leave it. Even if it looks sloppy.

I won't even tow our trailer, let alone try and park it.

Well, at least your honest. I find that most people are. I have bad days too. Making fun of old people is just easy...

comic, I'm shocked!
I was just about to list you as my no. 1 poster for kindness and tolerance - the voice of common sense in this den of iniquity - my faith has been shattered with 6 short words.
Anyway, old people have an important role in society and I'll be posting it here just as soon as I remember what it is.
