FIRE CURRENTLY GOING AS OF 02:51pm GMT time

FIRE STARTED: 9 FEBUARY 2008 - 19:20/7.20pm GMT
FIRE ENDED:10 FEBUARY 2008 - ???/???am GMT (still hosing it down)

the fire is in camden lock and chalk farm near where i live no one is hurt but i can see smoke, and loads of cops, ambulances and fire engines, euston station is under threat and arsonists are suspected of doing it, the reasons for doing it (i think) is the punks and goths are angry that camden market is changing because developers wanna change it, so they are getting angry and strating fires, houses and flats are being evacuated and one london tube station line is close and northern line has fears of being closed

Great Fire of Camden Market would probably be a better name for this thread.

 You wouldn't last a day in the SoCal fire season.

Glad no one was hurt though. Wouldn't do to repeat the medieval fires.

Now I know I think different then most but...
punks and goths are angry that camden market is changing because developers wanna change it,

Won't burning it down help them clear the site for redevelopment?

Ah yes, but 2dimes, you have a BRAIN. The scum around Camden Market snorted out their last brain cells in 1982.

I used to live opposite the market until a couple of years ago. Unfortunatley all you can buy there now is £20 bags of oregano and £50 bags of icing sugar, well since the cops shut down the royal exchange anyway. Camden has gone a bit downhill. I did love livign there though.

Yes, i was being a bit harsh. It is a cool place but i just feel its gone downhill in the last few years. Sicne Mozza left
