Hey everyone, I'm putting together a portfolio of my work for a comic book art college. I've put some of my drawings on a website, click on the pictures to see the full size versions. These are just recent one's I've done with my tablet, haven't uploaded my pencil/pen and paper ones yet. Comment them if you like!

oh yeah, if any of you want something drawn, like a caricature or picture of yourself, or a cartoon whatever, PM me. I can always use new ideas/inspiration for a piece that I can use in my portfolio. I can't guarantee I'll do it, it'd have to be somethin I was interested in drawing and something I'll have time to do, I have a full-time job at the moment, haha.

if you seriously want to use one for a sig, go ahead haha. thats a huge compliment to me thanks! I could resize one also if they are too big, let me know

Comics/graphic novels is what I really want to get into. The school I'm looking at is Joe Kuberts school of cartoon and graphic art. They have former marvel/DC artists as professors and they have current artists come in and critique work time to time. I went to RIT for a few years with New Media Design as my major and realized I needed a story behind my work and not just web banners and layouts.

That site my blog is on is great, all you need is a gmail account which is free. Also since that site is through google, it comes up in google searches a lot. just go to http://www.blogger.com and sign up, they have a bunch of page templates pre-made so you can have your first blog up in minutes.

I'm 25, been drawing since I can remember, my first inspiration was probably Looney Tunes saturday mornings. Never had any formal training except for basic high school art courses and the classes I took at RIT, although the classes at RIT were all based in New Media Design which is websites, flash, shockwave, menus and such etc.

If you guys really want to see some of my pencil and paper sketches, you can check out my myspace page linked in my profile here. You don't need an account to see them. The only thing is they are smaller, that's why I started posting on blogger. Myspace downsizes the pictures so they lose some detail and size.
