by Skittles!
I have 7 pairs
It's an addiction, I'm sorry.
I have, the normal ones.
Green high tops
Grey "Converse" high tops
Beige low cuts
Red and black low cuts
Jogger ones.
Leather pair.
It's absurd, I know, but I love them.. So light and great for my feet.

they're not comfortable at all for me
but nevertheless, i have, at the moment, 4 pairs. i'd get more if my parents wouldn't object. and it kind of bothers me that so many people wear them nowadays.
navy blue hi-tops
green hi-tops
black lo-tops (don't wear these anymore)
monochrome black hi-tops

Not the same brand, but I have one pair of 'No Sweat" sneakers that look like those. They're army green and black.

ah. is it because of the price, or because you object to the fact that the new chucks are manufactured in Asian countries?

Sweatshops and I don't wear leather. That limits my choices.

yeah, the "sweatshops" was also implied. Chucks aren't made of leather, they're made of canvas. there are SOME leather and suede variants, but, it's mostly the one-ply cotton canvas.

you're saying this to the guy that has 19,000+ posts on a forum, and loves Pikachus more then any thing. Do you really think I know much about what other people here know.

The scary thing is, I remember when they weren't quaint retro, and most of the NBA still wore them. Yes I am an old fart.

I was just explainitn why I don't wear "normal" shoes. They're useually made of leather and/or in sweatshops. The "no sweat" brand is safe.

I think I owned a pair 2 or 3 different times when I was a kid. If I remember correctly, they don't have as much padding as later models, but they're light and well designed. And if you twist your ankle, you can lace 'em up real tight and it's like an ace bandage.

Low-cut black converse are the only casual shoes I've worn in 5 years.

I used to wear them and went through a few pairs
too bad that they are owned by nike now, they probably were made in sweatshops beforehand but hadn't really thought about it. nike take over and it's suddenly quite apparent how the shoes are made.
The fact you guys own mulitple pairs at once is lame as
