Today I got a phone call from Mitt Romney himself.
YOU CAN TOO!

Like me, Mitt Romney is very concerned with illegal immigration and confronting radical Jihad.

"True strength for America's future"
As...as opposed to false strength?

Oh man, that reminds me of something.
Huckabee wrote:The United States Constitution never uses the word "God" or makes mention of any religion, drawing its sole authority from "We the People." However, Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee thinks it's time to put an end to that. "I have opponents in this race who do not want to change the Constitution," Huckabee told a Michigan audience on Monday. "But I believe it's a lot easier to change the Constitution than it would be to change the word of the living god. And that's what we need to do -- to amend the Constitution so it's in God's standards rather than try to change God's standards so it lines up with some contemporary view."

Not really, as he is a nonentity.
Henry VIII had six, and for all you history fans (both of you):
Divorced, Beheaded, Died
Divorced, Beheaded, Survived.

You've rumbled me. But why waste time listening to someone who wont even make the footnotes of History?

I thought about having him record my voice mail, but there's no way in hell the Romney campaign's getting my cell #.
But hey, looks like his campaign to call every Michigander is working, he's holding off Huckabee early.
This while Clinton is dominating the Democratic field, beating "uncommitted" by 30%. I still feel that Kucinich can rally back here, though. If he can't carry Michigan, I'm going to have to start worry about the effectiveness of the campaign in reaching the common voter.
Don't worry, I'm kidding.
Still voting for him, regardless

Henry was awesome.

I don't know, I think he has a good shot in several states. He hasn't been spending much money as of yet, and he has plenty of it to spare from his crazy fund raisers. And he's consistently beaten Giuliani and Thompson. I think we may see a dark horse in him. Could be wrong, but I definitely wouldn't discard Paul's chances (however remote) yet.

Question, Jay. Who do you think you would have voted for before you unraveled the government's story about 9/11? Do you think you would have still liked Paul as much as you do? This isn't a jab or anything, I'm just curious.

I wasn't giving much thought to the election. I was under the impression that Rudy would be the front runner. Having found out about Ron Paul and his message I can't see why anyone would not vote for him. The man has integrity and genuinely wants to help America return to the great nation she once was. When I was younger I was very patriotic, over the years that has diminished greatly. Ron Paul has rekindled that patriotism.
911 conspiracy aside..... we are in big trouble economically in this country. The answer? Cut out wasteful government spending.... he is the only one talking about this and he has a voting record in Congress to back it up.

Yes you are, and RP's solutions won't change that. If his policies would be a bit more realistic, he'd get more voters.

How do you figure? Bringing our troops home from all over the globe will save billions. Ending the Iraq war itself, will save us a ton of money. Then, cutting government programs will save even more. Abolishing the IRS, giving the people the freedom to spend all their money as they see fit will give the economy a jolt in the right direction.
What is the alternative? Everyone else wants to continue the war! We can't afford it. We are going to pay for this war and it won't be accepting cash. We are going to pay when our economy crumbles. This happens with every Empire bringing it to an end.

No, but the better he does, the more the media and political stage have to take into account his libertarianism. Plus I think he realises, this campaign isn't going to be the one he wins in, it's more a dry run.
