I just can't imagine how horrible these two people must have felt. I mean you think you know the person you're marrying and then find out this...

Freaky marriage story out of Britain

How do you pursue another relationship after this?

I don't know why they didn't let them carry on in all innocence.
A loving relationship interrupted by strong cultural taboo. That's all. very sad.

But there is also the issue of genetic defects in any child born to such a couple.

Here's another story of the same ilk, but the siblings KNOW they're related and want to pursue it anyway (it's like a perverse soap opera):

Hint: Judging by Hecter's previous posts, I think he realized that and it was part of his point.

I saw this yesterday on the BBC news site...I felt really bad for them. I'm surprised that the adoptive parents didn't know that there was a twin, and didn't think to check to see if they were related...

Isn't there a blood test before you get married in England? That is terrible! These people found each other, fell in love, and got married...then they find out they are brother and sister! I would be broken hearted and pissed off at the adoption system.

If there was you'd be here ranting about how we were being opressed and ruled by evil NWO shadow-people who were depriving us of our right to marry and to be free and to follow the constitution etc.
