What do you people think of him leaving Michigan? Possibly headed to UT.....

it would not make much sense imo at least for him to stay at michigan under a rodriguez offense. Rich pandered some to the idea that he would shape the spread to the talent, but i dont think the offense suits his skills at all really.

Tenn might be a better fit....i wasnt that impressed with him.

If anyone gets any more news about that tell me.

From what I understand, his decision might be tied to whether or not Tennessee hires Michigan's recently fired offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coaches. Mallett got along well with them.

Our (by that I mean Michigan) quarterbacks haven't really been that impressive for years. Not since Brady, anyway, and he was nowhere near as impressive then as he is now. Henne and the others would all show little spurts of excellence (ie against Florida) but for some reason they had the consistency of autistic squirrels. I missed the games Mallet played in, but because he was at Michigan, I'm sure he had potential. It sucks that the separation had to occur the way it did, but here's hoping the move works out well for both parties.
