i am an aussie.
for my nations side i would drop Gilchrist and have Brad Haddin as keeper/batsman, otherwise it is fine as is.

the indians have always complained we give them a hard time, and yes we have teased them about their race (i don't see why you can pick on someone because they are fat or short but not white or brown, you are trying to put them off their game)
we have had a massive crackdown of late about that and now they have shown they have people in their team prepared to also use whatever is at hand to put the opposition off their game.
the indians thought it was a big deal when we called them names but not when they call us names. go figure.
personally i think 'monkey' is a great sledge, but if it backfires he scores 150+.

Im biased as an Essex fan but Foster is a hugely more talented wk, also how can Tresc be captain with his current problems ? Hoggard for Trem and Monty for Swann would be better and no way can Freddie bat at 5

I think its the other way round.
Let me quote something
Peter Roebuck said in a newspaper wrote:If Cricket Australia cares a fig for the tattered reputation of our national team in our national sport, it will not for a moment longer tolerate the sort of arrogant and abrasive conduct seen from the captain and the senior players over the past few days.
Beyond comparison it was the ugliest performance put up by an Australian side for 20 years. The only surprising part of it is that the Indians have not packed their bags and gone home. There is no justice to them in this country, nor any manners.
Peter Roeback is a reputed Australian cricket writer. I think that says it all.

i would not say was a massive cricket fan, but i do think 2 seasons ago Lancashire were robbed. in the summer months we had 5 out of 7 games away from home and when the weather got a bit dodgy. it was time for the majority of our home games. now Lancashire play mainly at Old Trafford(manchester),Southport and Blackpool. all not well known for their glaring sunshine when Autumn comes.

i'm australian and i have no doubt that ricky ponting should be sacked as captain. the captain is meant to lead by a good example and show respect to opponents. ponting does not. sack him!

The worst team for sledging are the Aussies. I find it hypocritical when they claim they are being abused.
I am a Worcestershire fan. Although New Road floods every winter its not usually a problem in the summer. Until last year. My brothers place overlooks the ground and I happened to be there when it flooded. I couldnt beleive how quickly it was covered in 4 foot of water, and that was the end of cricket at New road for the season.
Monty should be in the England team simply because he can lift a crowd as well as Pietersen can
