Back by popular demand: GORDON BROWN!

So, American politics are definitely dominating the board right now. So, for the largest national majority of the board I ask you: Gordon Brown, better as Prime Minister or Chancellor of the Ex-Chequer (Did I say that right? Is this in any way a pertinent question?)
In essence, this is a political thread to discuss something other than Huckabee/Romney/Obama/Clinton.
Go!

In Britain we are much more realistic than in america. We don't vote for the guy who we think will revolutionise our country and bring us a new age where we get everything we want. We just try to get the bloke who'll do least damage.

Good call. But are you saying that David Cameron will do
more damage?

Ron Paul.
Seriously though - GB was a better chancellor, by all accounts. he's taken a few big hits over the past month or so, and he shouldn't have wimped out over the election. He needs time and a lucky break or two; even so, i think david cameron is going to be our next prime minister,

I agree with eveything written above, except Ron Paul. Who he?

A good PM in my opinion but. The main thrust of the big hits he's taken over the last few months has been pretty empty. I'm an ardent fan. A better PM than Chancellor? I doubt it. But he's our best option at the moment by a long shot.
And Cameron for teh winz? He's still got a hell of a long way to go. That Labour majority really is quite colossal. The bookies still won't give you odds on Labour losing the next election.

I think Brown is better than Cameron. Mainly due to Cameron being a slimy bastard. He's an image man like Blair, but he could well be even worse.
In an Ideal world however, i'd have Charles Kennedy, drunk or not.

Pun of the century!
But seriously, Gordon Brown sends the wind up me. He is a moody, cantakerous, manic-depressive, old school marxist.
He belongs in a "special institution" not a position of power.
He is the final nail of new-labour, into the coffin of Britain.

Isn't he already in this special institution called 'government'?

I've got a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore.
