I consider myself middle class, of working class heritage. I studied maths physics and electronics at a-level (i think diploma standard for the states) then went on to do my HNC in electronics.

Leave the practical clever stuff to the practical clever people....not the little limp-wristed brats, who cant even pick up a hammer, let alone use it....leave them to do the "lower class" jobs, like teaching, parking inspecters, and "diversity management" that they have attained via their useless fucking degrees, that have put them into 30K quid's worth of debt for!

You know... in Ancient China and Japan, capitalists and soldiers were at the bottom of society and peasants and scholars were on top.

before you go around extolling the virtues of the dynastic cycle in china....there were quite a few things about that society that werent so great. Im not saying it didnt have a whole lot of staying power or that the examination system in and of itself was a bad thing....but it wasnt without some flaws.

Yea...stupid teachers, always sacrificing their well-being to help out others. Always teaching people and stuff. And helping to teach people to get their degrees that will help others out later in their lives. Why don't they just stop being teachers and go away!

Do you realize that only reason you have the job you have is because someone taught you? So why don't you repay the favor to them and not act like an asshole?

I work towards a liberal society yet I can't help dreaming of a Fascist dictatorship in which our thoughts and feelings were systematically repressed by mind altering drugs and psychologists.

They are recruited from useless degrees, with no future, and brought into these environments where they have absoloutley no fooking control over the kids, and left like smouldering wrecks by the end of the day.

The people that are recruited for these type of jobs (at least around my way) are useless, unemployable types.

Grouping people a little too tight are you? I've met, and had some of the most excellent teachers I've ever seen in secondary schools. These people are not teachers because they have no where to go in life, and decided to become teachers out of the blue because it was a way of making money. Teachers are teachers because the want to be teachers. That's capitalism.

However, capitalism is not a very economically secure and equitable system - meaning more people fall through the cracks in society than...say...socialism. Socialism, on the other hand, sacrifices economic freedom and growth for economic security and equity. Both sides have their flaws. What system you want depends mostly just on what flaws you are willing to sacrifice.


Now...lets be clear here...communism is not socialism...just so we all know.
