Whats happening to the forums?

Right now we got over 1100 people online, but very little participation on forums. I understand that they were never popular, but this is ridiculous. When i first joined, if we had so many people online i wouldnt have time to read all the old posts, but now, i would be lucky to read something new every 30 mins. Maybe we should force people to participate in forums?

At least it would increase interest in game related topics.
