Unless you connect it to a speaker system often, there's not much of a point in that... I mean whats the most you can do? Put the Pod in your backpack and hold the controller in your hand? You can't see the menu that way...

Well... the whole appeal is that it's simple. And it looks good.
(I have a 80gb Ipod Video for €250, I don't think that's really that overpriced.)

Ipod touch is the only good iPod. That is why i didn't buy one until that came out. Even still it's over priced and lacks a lot of memory but i didn't pay for it so i love it
