I personally think SM64 was better. Them infinite lives in SMG really killed the game for me. Made it too easy...

i didn't like the movie (guy wasn't funny)
and the game look slightly annoyiong (although i've never played it, just watched it being played)

ehh, i dunno, overall doesnt look horrible, and I do love mario, i should probably check this out at some point.

I have to agree, if they'd toned down the lives a bit it would have been close to perfect. Of course every time a company makes a slightly tough game they get nailed with complaints for being too hard...nobody ever seems to enjoy a challenge.

yeah. lots less lives would help more. by the time i got to just 60 stars, i was already 37 lives up, and there were way more that I wasted away messing around with the lava and stuff....

i mean, you get 5 free lives every few hours in the "mail" in the game, just for playing.... i guess thats for the kids that can't play, but they should learn to play instead of getting a free ride to the finish line with all the extra lives.

other than that, the game is great. definately worth the buy.

It is weird? I watched a small Demo and it looked like regular mario except for you are on a sphere.

I thought Galaxy was incredible... and to those of you who say it's too easy, try getting all 120 stars... some of them are challenging. Plus, there's a neat surprise at the end. :P

lol. I'm already around 90. i hit 60 yesterday.

they are all pretty easy, some just take a few extra tries. It will never be a threat to my 37 leftover lives that i have....

PS: the suprise in the end got ruined over a month ago, when i was reading a review for the game (reviews aren't supposed to ruin the ending, but this one did)

If you do the top row, it spells out "U R MR GAY"...

as for the game I barely played it, as I was busy on CC and with other games, but I'll play it some more. ;) But so far I think the N64 one is better.

But when is the last time you've played SM on your N64? Because even though it was a great game, it still had flaws. The flaws are just forgotten over time since you remember the fun more clearly.
