Even if Mike Huckabee somehow wins the Republican candidacy, he will never win in the elections.

I'd like to vote Thompson, but unless he starts polling better, he won't have a shot, so for now I'm backing Romney.

Mike is the only one to the Republican's to run against the Clinton's and win (and he's done it more than once, being from their home state and Bill's hometown). I wouldn't sell him so short.

at the moment, im of the opinion that huckabee is a winner V.P. choice for a couple of tickets that would give the GOP a pretty good shot. I have a few more reservations about him winning as the presidential candidate though.

Huckabee can't win against Hillary and that is why the press is pushing him. Hillary would win all the big electoral states NY, CA, FL. The only candidate that can beat her is Ron Paul. RP is more committed to ending the war than Hillary, some 82% of Americans want to end the war. Given a fair election, no fraud, Paul can beat Hillary.

I agree with Jay's opinion that Huckabee can't beat Hillary, however I don't see him beating Obama or Edwards either. I disagree with Paul being the only candidate that can beat Hillary, I don't think Paul can beat anyone, honestly.

Interesting but unrelated side-note, the EPA is the second most powerful federal agency in America, after the IRS. All they need to completely search your house is reason to believe that there is makeup inside of it.

Just a little piece of trivia ;)

Me being sarcastic?
Surely you jest?
The man seems the most sensible and uncorrupt candidate as of yet.

As an ex-Communist, still-Marxian, feminist, atheist, socialist Democrat who lives in Texas AND SO CAN VOTE IN WHATEVA PRIMARY I WANT TO, SUCKAS!, I'd vote for Thompson in the Republican primary.
