It's a bit confusing. And sometimes unreasonable. Why would 17 armies retreat from 1? <Look into that. ;)

Only 3 games played, joined in October, and still a New Recruit, hmmm, a bot perhaps?

I guarantee you the site is 100% legit! I am beta testing a design that I have just finished. I am not a bot, I tried to play CC and don't have the time. I program for fun and am trying to test my code out.

Thanks for those of you that do choose to help.

PS - If you have any suggestions or encounter any errors please send an in-game message to admin.

I just won. 8)

Anyways, sorry about that, but we have had a few suspicsious posts before.

As for gameplay, it would be better to see the armies themselves when attacking, also, are you using random.org for the decsision making? Because at times, it seems that when 14 against would be an easy win, yet you lose at least half of your armies before you beat one of them. :? Also, make attacking a bit easier, as well as moving troops around the map. That is all for now.

I don't help people who contradict themselves within 2 consecutive sentences.

Aw well it is the season to be jolly so I'll give you a suggestion: Don't advertise a game about risk in the forum of another game about risk.

Q: Aw well it is the season to be jolly so I'll give you a suggestion: Don't advertise a game about risk in the forum of another game about risk.

A: The only similarity to my game vs CC is that they are loosely based around Risk. CC is multi user and slower paced, mine is against a computer. I figured who better to give me feedback on my Risk game than people that play Risk for fun in a community like this.

Q: I tried to play CC and don't have the time. I program for fun and am trying to test my code out.

A: Again CC is slower paced, I don't have the time to sit around and wait for my game's turn. I do have free time here and there, but not enough to commit myself to a multiple day game. This script has been in development for a while now, I am happy to have a working version to test.

Hope that clears things up ;-)

Psst, get Premium Membership and you won't have to wait around, play some Speed Games. ;) Or even with Free Membership, check Chat or the Callouts for old style 'Real Time Games.' :)

I realize that, and I stand by what I said. How would you feel, if/when your site got popular, if new users who haven't contributed much to the community start advertising for their games on your forum, taking away your members and making it worse for the members who stay? I realize that right now you're not looking to get new members signed up, only for feedback for your beta, but whether you mean it or not it's still advertising because you're still letting others know about your game.

I choose to dis-agree

The games are completely un-related beyond the fact that they are based on Risk.

I am not trying to steal users, simply trying to gain feedback from a group of people that I consider to be experts in the field of Risk games.

I am not taking away from the quality of CC, and ultimately I am not bothering people that are playing games or looking to play games. I am on a forum related to a risk game seeking advice on a risk game.

If you are going to help I appreciate it, if you are not then why don't you go play a game? You knew what the content of this thread would be when you read the subject line, it wasn't deceitful... It said Test my beta game.

feedback: if you take over a continent it appears you have the ability to leave "0" troops on the continent, which shouldn't happen. change this.

Also, work on the AI. I had 6 in asia and 4 in N.A, but the computer kept on trying to attack the asia with its 8 in middle east instaed of the N.A. with the 13 it had in europe.

its also, rather bland and boring.

also, add capabilities to move troops more than 1 at a time.this is really annoying as you have to refresh the page 3 times for each troop moved.

Thanks for helping!

The game is not 100% bug free yet, the 0 troops is new to me but I will look at it.

I am planning on loading the site with better graphics, hopefully that will make it a bit more exciting.

The moves and repitive clicking will be eliminated in the next day or so, I have to modify the code to accomodate this. It is definitely necessary though.

Thanks for playing and giving your feedback!

Good Night

I am calling it a night. Thank you to everyone that helped with my beta test.

The beta will be on-going for at least the next week. I will begin implementing some of the changes that have been suggested over the next day or two.

Thank you again for everyones help and if you haven't tried the game, try it and let me know what you think.

I will get the response faster if you send an in-game message through the website to admin.
