Its 15 quid pay per view on sky... Fuckers...

Probably worth it though to save the local sports bar by cringeworthy boxing enthusiasm...

honestly guys its mayweather and its not even close.

Everything hatton predicates his attack on is being able to maul your opponent. The last guy who was able to maul PBF was jose luis castillo going on about a decade ago....and he still didnt get the decision. Floyd just has exceptional foot and hand speed in the ring. Hatton wont lose for lack of trying, but do not expect this fight to be any different if not worse (from a stylistic point) than mayweather de la hoya. If hatton can get inside consistently, it will be interesting. But even then he does punch wide, and floyd can hang inside and not get hit.

Floyd is just all wrong for hatton, and i really like hatton, and would love to see him win.

I didn't particurly understand the question, so my vote might be a little pointless.

I'd like to see Ricky win, but tonkaed is right, Mayweather's too good. It'll be like the de la Hoya fight, lots of punches thrown from Hatton in the first half the fight, with not many landing cleanly, then mayweather picking him apart the last half because he's not tired.

just having watched the hatton jlc replay on hbo again today, i think it will depend a little bit on who the referee is. To some extent ricky will be able to get a hold of mayweather at times in the fight, hes just too good at that to never be able to do it. The question is however, and id expecting the mayweather camp has lobbied quiet a bit about this, is how much the ref will allow him to hold. Certainly moreso in this fight than many others, it will be obvious he is initiating all of the holding, because PBF will never be accused of trying to hold his opponent so he can stay inside.

If he has a ref like ortez who was pretty leniant, it will be interesting to see if the naturally stronger hatton can hang wear on floyd a bit over a long fight.

I just dont see it happening though.

I'm going to sneak out of bed at 4am while the Mrs is zonked, have a couple of beers, pay £15 (reminder, hide next statement) and hopefully watch Ricky win.

Aha! Luckily I'm traveling back to my parents tonight so I may possibly be able to order the pay-per-view on my parents TV 'by accident'... Either that or I'll go over to my brothers and offer to go halves. Actually, that might be a better option all round because he bought a 40 inch HDTV and Xbox 360 on credit two weeks ago... Twatish thing to do when you only earn 7 quid an hour but still...
