This is quite funny, in my honest opinion. Some highlights had to have been the fact that they are denouncing the film without seeing it, and, of course, the comments. Some of the are quite good, in that an atheist will become an "unatheist" when put in the line of fire from "Evil Muslims" Another good one was "Chris Hitchens is a air bag full of bologna."

John McIntyreneedstolearnhowtousethespacebar "If Hollywood Cinemas shows it and Movies 9 chooses to respect local Christian views then at Christmas give the Movies 9 gift card and see where your teenager will go for movies.Opening weekend throw a party at your churches gym and boycott the movie theatre and advertizers.Lead a silent march on public street leading to the culprit theatres.Another opportunity to change the culture of your town.Respectfully,John McIntyre"

"Wow, we are constantly being challenged to stay one step ahead, aren't we? The atheist community is out there and they are not afraid to push their agenda. We must be vigilant. They obviously have the ear of Hollywood." they say as a movie comes out in theatres about the Ten Commandments.

"It takes a certain amount of intelligence to believe in God. Anyone who doesn't believe in God is a very stupid individual. Such is Philip Pullman and others of his ilk."
Now that's just insulting...

Anyway, check it out for yourself, it's good :D

I have received a few e-mails, and read an in-depth article on this film and these books, and believe this is the most dangerous film that was ever made for children, both spiritually and morally. This film is about killing God! There are very disturbing elements in this, and for more detailed information, do a search on http://www.snopes .com, and you will be shocked. As a Christian, I can only pray that as many parents as posible are made aware of this very blasphemous film, and prevent their children from being exposed to it's demonic content.

i tell you what from a strict pr standpoint....could you really do more to promote the movie than make comments like that one?

AFA = American Family Association - a conservative christian interest group.

It takes place in a fantasy realm where children are given the ability to do amazing things on their own. Therefore, it's evil.

Conservative Christian groups even attacked The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe which was written by a Christian with Christian values in mind.

This whole petition is ludicrous.

That is all.

Paranoia strikes again!
I find this case similar to the "Muhammed Teddy Bear" situation. Anytime a religion finds something that threatens them - no matter how small - they denounce it as evil! EVIL!

"Oh no! My snow globe is not mentioned in the Bible! I must burn it!"

Bah.
