I know there are some front runners, and I believe that Alexander has the number 1 spot, unless someone disagrees for some reason. But I want to hear from others on their views about this.

Because he was shot by his own troops. Lee was a gentleman who didn't see things the way Jackson did. He could've taken Little Round Top early, but he didn't he also could have struck from the north.

Hannibal used superior calvary tactics and Julius used legionnaire formations that easily crushed the phalanx formation.

hitler had a pretty big problem in geopolitics. Its pretty hard for anyone to win a war in that situation with those people fighting against you...at the same time, he had not done some of the things in russia he did, he may have had a better chance.
