The Stone roses, Created in the late 80's in Manchester.

Likely lads, from a rough area, with Odin-given talents.

Ian brown, with his husky and harmonic vocals (front)
John Squire, the funky guitarist (back right)
Mani, the swaying base guitarist (Back centre)
Reni, the fooking mad drummer (Back left)

Late 80's

Love spreads
Mid 90's

They adapted to many different styles, from there original acid house/indie/madchester style.

It was just a shame they split so early.

Yeah, Oasis tried to be like them, but just werent as good IMO, although I fooking love oasis too.

There is something so well co-ordinated and original about the stone roses, that I dont think many other bands could ever dream of living up to.

I think they are talented...I hear a bit of talent in what they do....but it is just distorted with all of this "lilly allen/ mike skinner" type bullshit "realism". It's fucking depressing and not actually real to anything.

No, they take a pseudo-commie maniacal and distorted look on life...they speak for no-one other than pretentious little college brats.

Stone roses actually came from deprived, working class backgrounds...in fucking moss side....MOSS SIDE! Have you ever been there? I have, and I know for a fact that despite it being a bit rough now, it was a totally terraced, smog and crime ridden hole when they were growing up in the 70's.

Arctic monkeys are little college brats, Theyve not been fucking born yet, and they have nothing to say, except spew out generic, rancidly stereo-typical and unoriginal shit.
