Whilst many of you here at Conquer Club have been wasting time announcing your own ludicrous presidential bids, Luns has been out and about hitting the campaign trail hard (unlike the other candidates, it seems). We at the campaign office just thought you'd like a little update:

First off, Luns started the day at the offices of the UN meeting former secretary general Kofi Annan. This distinguished international statesman announced his utmost support for the Luns campaign.

Then, after a lunch of Patriot Fries, Luns chaired a conference on the problems faced by the development of Africa, at which Nelson Mandela was present. Mandela also gave his full backing to our campaign, saying that Luns reaching the whitehouse would be the final culmination of his long walk to freedom.

Next, we flew over to Europe to meet Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for a formal state banquet in honour of Luns run for president. It is rumoured that the Queen described vice-presidential candidate Stopper, who was also in attendence as 'A jolly good sort' who would be 'welcome at one of Charlie's hunts any time...' She also announced that she no longer held any grudge over the whole War of Independence thing.

Finally, to round of the day, Luns made a crucial step in Anglo-French relationships when he met the french President Sarkozy. The French premier reportedly responded to a question about whether the baguette was better than the bagel with an exclamation of "Sacrebleu!' and one of the assembled paparatzi caught his wonderfully gallic expression on film.

While all the other candidates are yapping, Luns is out doing!

UPDATE! BREAKING NEWS!!

(AP) After meeting President Sarkozy, Luns was secreted away under a dark raincoat and Benegals cap to his private, fuel-guzzling jet (with heated jacuzzi) to a private meeting with a certain foreign leader who has, according to sources, been donating massive amounts of cash and golf pencils to the Luns campaign.

Hi I am Krusher current Conqueror of CC and I support Luns for President and its not just because he bribed me its mainly because the other guy didnt... :lol:

Hmmm, We were only planning on dealing with 16 year old virgins, but since you and ignotus have requested (quite bizzarely) older women, we will grant these to you. The process of such, will involve the 16 year old girls that we have proffered, and locked up in a cell, as a "maturing" process, like you would with a fine wine or cheese.

Just to add a little bit to what Guis has posted...I was able to persuade the Queen to try a Big Mac instead of the traditional fish & chips. I was pleased to hear her say "simply smashing, love" as she feasted. She also said that we yanks can continue to count on the crown's support. Stopper will be having a follow-up meeting with her next month. She said she was looking forward to double western meal from Carl's Jr.

This is how diplomacy works people!

Ha! This is awesome stuff. I never thought I would see the day when conservatives and liberals would unite. I go away for awhile and I see all these new banners with luns and stopper. Good heavens I want one too.

Which lies would those be? luns as well as Stopper have proven their integrity and honesty time and time again. What "lies" are you referring to? I also notice that you do not claim your candidate of choice is honest. Could it be that Norse appeals to you because you know him to be a liar and the truth scares you?
