Wote for Rojs, Pašalić & Kovečević.

At least we will have fun in our parliament with those ultra-super-right-winged bigot clowns again!

Seriously I'm still thinking of voting for them (Rojs & Kovečević are in mine, 6th electoral district) just for fun...

Or voting for pesant's again...

Well, elections in Croatia are a joke... ....again! :?

EDIT: Roj's & Kovečević's list is called Only Croatia.

are you eating those glowing mushrooms again ignotus? pashalic stole everything he laid his fingers on when he was in CDU (HDZ). why would he do different now? rojs is a laughing-stock of the nation, benign but stupid - what progress would be made with him except public executions of homosexuals?

we need a healthy left-winged people in parliament as well as those right-winged. i'm against that they should win, but they're needed for progress. two largest parties HDZ and SDP, right and left, aren't actually what they proclaim to be. they're both actually centrist with common goal: grab as much as u can for yourself while in charge. screw that! i want more pluralism in parliament so they could steal less... we need a governament with minority which will listen to opinions and needs of croatian people.

this were results of last elections:

Image

Croatian democratic union 43 %
Social democratic party of Croatia 28%
Croatian people's party 7%
Croatian peasant's party 6%
Croatian party of rights 5%
minority parties 5% etc.

what do i expect of this new governament?

*to deny the privilege of voting for diaspora
(croatian people living abroad)
*to remove the law of zero promiles of alcohol
(they should give at least 0,5 if not 0,8 like in Czech republic)
*to introduce taxes according to people's income
(to narrow the difference between rich and poor)
*to impede the entry to EU
(fight for better condition of entry)
*not to enter the NATO
(who does need NATO anyways, why should our people die for foreign interests)
*to remove administrative tax for medical services
(why do i have to pay every time i visit the doctor)
*to reintroduce obligatory military service for male population
(very improbable, it's getting removed beginning from 2008, i wanted to pass military training, that knowledge can always come handy)
*to provide better social care for poor, ill or people with handicaps
*to lower the immigration rate and deport all illegal immigrants back to China (we don't need all those chinese people here, i have nothing against them but our people don't have secure jobs all we need is foreigners taking them)
*to lower unemployment rate
*to kick slovenian asses (first serbs wanted parts of our land now slovenes want our sea - they should resolve their complexes for being a small country in different manner, and they should remove their military from our land, who cares that they're in EU that gives them no right to do as they please)
*to cancel cooperation with Haag tribunal
(unless they start being instrument of justice instead of politics)
*not to steal too much
(to say not to steal at all would be utopistic)

If you really expect all this things to come true then you should form a party of your own. On the next election's I'll vote for you. Or even better I will run by your side.

I'll vote for Rojs & Kovačević because I know they are not going to get enough votes to get elected to Parliament. If you remember the times when those two were together how funny in the Parliament was...
Their statements; about homosexuals, women (mudraci-madraci i Vesna Pusić), and "Tko je jamio - jamio" were real politics. At least they speak what's on their mind and are better than those who just sit there and don't say a word in 4 years.

Pašalić is the only politician that i really despise (others I just don't like) but I will vote for them just for fun.

i never want to be a part of politics in official meaning. i'm not corrupt enough. even if i would no one would vote for me - since i'm too left for rightists and too nationalistic for lefties, and nowhere close to centre.

p.s. see my ww2 songs thread - last post!

Croatia has a government?
Wait, I'll rephrase that...

An Eastern European country has a government? Wow. Thought you lot were still "red".

Anyhoo, I suggest the Youth Party, assuming of course that you yourself are a youth Simonov.

Your ignorance is making me laugh and have a diarrhea at the same time.

Youth Party will not go to Parliament and that's for sure! They will get probably less than 1% percent of total votes. They are just small party that doesn't have any known leaders and a dubious program.

We have a saying in Croatia: Two Croats - Three Parties! We have a lot of small parties that newer go to Parliament and they participate in elections every year. O we have more than hundred parties, but only 10 or 12 got their representatives in Parliament. The rest are too week.

My solution to the problem is to bring back Communism. We will have "free elections" with just one list on them.

Socialdemocratic party of Croatia!

Maybe if people form Bosnia didn't vote on Croatian elections they would get enough votes to form a government.

I personally like the new guy, Milanović who is Party's president. He's young and has a potential. But Ljubo Jurčić as their candidate for Prime Minister. That's a mistake.
And I don't like Bandić (Mayor of Zagreb, who is in Socialdemocratic party of Croatia too)! :?

1) I am not ignorant, I believe you are. In case you haven't noticed I'm bringing alot of childish humour to serious threads ATM. Just yesterday in the "Irony" thread, we saw how CrazyAnglican just got more crazy.

2) Oh sure, I'd love to see a voting paper which looked like this:

Communist Party [ ]
Communist Party [ ]

Sure it's a little easier on the old grey matter, but it does take abit of fun out of the competition.

I would vote for Croation Youth Party if it weren't for the fact they definitely wouldn't win. Left of Croatia also seems a viable choice to me. Their is also a third option I see. As previously suggested, start your own party. Gain control somehow. It's my belief that if you really do want something done right, you have to do it yourself. Of course, your idealistic version of a government would probably have as much succes as the Croation Youth Party. But that's life I suppose.

If you can't see that I was just joking then you are probably a blind man.

EDIT: And the elections in Communist period weren't like that. You had "the choice" when you voted:
There were two boxes. One with list of Communist party and second who had nothing written on it. And the men who sited at the elections could write you down for further investigation if you didn't vote for ruling (and only) party.
