CC has many similarities to George Orwell's 1984

The image of a teenage ninja mutant turtle is posted through-out the forums (All too similar to big brother in 1984) and we can be tracked by ruthless Mods that use tactics all too similar to the 'thought police'. There are many members that are 'premium members' that get all the benefits (very similar to the inner party) We are nothing but proles and i urge the rest of us to realise that we are being duped before i cease to exist and all records of me are altered by the ministry of truth and i am sent to the ministry of love For my re-education.

i say we flame the mods to make them move this back.

I moved it (actually just reposted it), i thought it was more of a clubhouse topic.

It's a pretty good book. It's also rather short, so it should make for a quick read.

but i have not noticed cc's equivalent to Goldstein, I see its constant state of war but not its subject of anything remotly similar to the 2mins hate

hard to say, but i suppose if you really wanted to find a goldstein, flame wars may be the best direction to head.

I've been trying to find it for a long time but yet haven't. I've read Animal Farm, but not 1984 yet

Take2out takes a lot of flak.. but hate to say it but i believe what 'they' tell me about him, specially as i have played him.

i would actually check just a local library (id be surprised if they didnt have it) or even somewhere on the internet, i would imagine theres probably a full text version out there somewhere.

I've been looking at the local library, and a book store, and they both didn't have it! BLAH!
