This post is hilarious for a number of reasons.

1. You saying we're logical
2. spilling your guts to potential serial killers
3. Being such a soppy twat
4.Instead of giving your new friend a good old fashioned "ass-fucking" you play video games with her
5. Then admitting that you did this.
6.Assuming that introducing your bird with a potential competitor of hers is a good idea (women are the most vicious territorial type, believe me)

The monk idea is pretty good, and probably your best option... Why, you may ask? Because either way, at this point, you could very well be fucked. You have a girlfriend, and if your not attracted to her, break it off, douchebag! If, however, you love your girlfriend and want to be with her, than you can stay just friends with this other girl. Will there be sexual tension? Most likely, yes. Maybe you could arrange some kind of polygamous relationship with her and your current girlfriend. I don't know, it's up to you. You probably should tell your girlfriend about this girl though, because if she finds out that you're spending more time with this girl than you have with her, she'll be pretty fucking pissed... Tell her now and get the shitstorm over with, or avoid it all together. If she's a good girlfriend, it should be no problem (+3 CHA modifier? You should be able to lie a bit...). Personally, I'd try to work out a fuckbuddy type relationship, or dump your current girlfriend.

There is no such thing as a "true friendship" between hetero-sexual men and women who are attracted to one another in the way you describe, so do not bother going there, if you wish to keep your current girl.

holy crap, this exact same situation happened to me.
and i'm not trying to kid you either.

What happened in my case is I did try to introduce the girl and my girlfriend. Big mistake. After months of trials and tribulations, i'm no longer talking to my friend, and my girlfriend hates the shit out of her.

My advice? Think really, really, REALLY hard about how you feel about your girlfriend. Do you really like/love her? If so, how do you feel about doing something to someone you love that hurts her? If you don't understand what I'm talking about, imagine the roles being reversed. Your Girlfriend found someone who she really really likes and she started sneaking around behind your back in order to meet him.

At this point in time, you have two courses of options: tell you girlfriend how you feel about the other girl or stop feeling that way about the other girl.

Personally, when i look back, I say, forget the feelings you had about your friend. You won't be able to live with yourself if you get with her, i promise.

I may not know a lot about girls but this is a hardcore fact. One thing you have to do is try to establish them as friends. If not, there will be a grudge-war going on between the two of them and they will be more focused on each other than you. So my advice is to tell her that you have a friend that's a girl but not the whole interest thing. Just don't do anything sketchy, and if you do make sure to clean up after yourself.
