More parents who shouldn't have had children, and they are ultimately the ones to blame...

Teach your children not to get kicked out of school, and if they are little shits like that, don't let them have access to weapons

I'd love to see what kind of redneck, inbred home he is from.

Err. WAS from.

hmm...

i disagree, anarkist...

i think that parents are partially to blame, but ultimately, it was the child that chose to take a weapon, and kill (or try to anyway) people

Another school shooting. This is becoming almost a pastime for Americans. One day you'll realise that your constitution is out of date.

I agree with anarkist. A surprisingly high number of parents use violence to relay a message to their kids. These children ultimately end up being either afraid of everybody or being overly aggressive towards their peers, and shit like this happens. Since they can't solve the problem they are faced with in a reasonable manner, they instead use force, the only bargaining chip they know. Not to mention the fact that the family had a GUN.

In every possible way. I guess I could do a statistical comparison for you, when I have the time and the inclination to care.

2. As you can see, this "better life" certainly isn't so great, getting their children killed and such...

At least they don't have a school shooting every week. And free health care.

It's not the consitution it's the declaration of independence that's out of date.

Most of it is accurate, except for a small excerpt toward the end of the text...

"He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions."

If the people in the country would do something about limiting access to weapons so that this kid wouldn't have been able to get the guns, then he wouldn't have been able to shoot the people in the first place!

The kid got a gun from somewhere, because the laws let his parents get a firearm and they kept it in the open. Other countries don't have nearly as big a problem controlling firearms.

The kid was fourteen. It was the parents gun. Nobody of that age has connections.
