While drinking my tea today i thought: How many cups of tea other people in the world drink a day? On a school day i usually have 3. On a holiday or weekday i usually have 5 or 6. How many do you have?

Drinking De-caff coffee and tea is like taking a bath in a wet-suit.

Tea is gross... Hot or iced.
Unless it is green tea... I do drink green tea when eating sushi.

between 1 and 3 a day.
Those Americans just don't know what tastes good. But then again, by now it's probably traditional not to drink tea in the USA. Ever since they tried and failed to make the worlds biggest cup of tea in Boston a few hundred years ago. The problem was that they were using sea water which is simply too salty and they had no adequate way of making it boil.

Nark, regular green tea or that 'rice' stuff?
I'm not a fan of the rice stuff the Japanese resteraunts have.

Not saki. They make green tea with rice in it. Tastes like postum that's off.

LOADS! Tea's bangin'.
Usually drink about 4 cups at work and 1 when I get home, although I have been known to drink well in to double figures if the mood takes me ....
Hardly ever drink coffee in the UK, but when abroad I'd rather have coffee than tea. Purely because very few Europeans seem to know how to make a good cup of tea.

What a British stereotype.
I don't drink it that much, only when it's cold (the weather, not the tea).

Wow! This is a great thread!
I usually have a cup of milky coffee in the morning, half a Coke Zero at lunch, and a cup of Earl Grey at work in the afternoons. This is my usual caffeine intake.
I wonder, all you people from exotic lands who drink lots and lots of tea every day: How do you prepare it? What kind of tea? Do you make pots of it? Using TEA BAGS? I want in-depth details, please.
