How did I first come to these forums? Well it's a long story really, one day I was bored and I was browsing the site to kill time, sooner or later I stumbled across the Flame Wars section and saw this guy called 'Xtratabasco' whining about some freestyle game he once played against three people who knew each other in real life. Everybody was shouting abuse at him but nobody was really exposing him for being an idiot, so I took it upon myself to try to talk some sense into the guy and convince him that his opponents weren't cheating. It didn't work, I politely explained his position to him and asked him to answer a few curteous, logical questsions, but he just refused to see sense no matter how much I presented his illogicality to him. Before I knew it I couldn't continue being so nice, I was just annoyed with his pig-headed-ness and determination to ignore any appeal to rationality that any poster put to him. Dismayed with his appaling attitude to net-etiquette I started slinging insults at him, crude curses, lampoons of his posting style, mockery of his attempts at argument, whatever I could find, anything to upset him or to cause him offence. Suddenly people were quoting me and typing QFT's and LOL's whenever I was unpleasant to him. It was fantastic. I went mad with the power, I found other idiots to deride and humiliate, countless victims to taunt and ridicule, and suddenly I realised that I liked it. The challenge of conveying both wit and hatred, the compliments from other posters, the angry responses from upset victims... it was intoxicating... I was hooked. True story.

Yep, that's xtra alright.

How did I come to the forums? well, a friend of mine on the site told me that I could see everybody who was on the site at the time by clicking on forums and scrolling down to the bottom. while there I decided to browse around a little and eventually saw a name I recognized "fordhamflash." Turns out he had posted a topic about a game where I had an alliance with him and what would be the proper etiquette for terminating the alliance (perfectly understandable as he had become blocked in by my continent). So I posted what I felt about it quickly before logging off and after that, I just never left.

i came to sugest putting a surrender button on the game. about two days later i went to flame wars and posted about 5 pages worth of crap. after that i decided to go to the Social Lounge II, current day "Clubhouse," after that i posted flame wars a couple of more times and kind of just left snd stayed in the Clubhouse for the most part. and thats how i got itroduced to the forums.

no it was just another forum, I had been at before was in a way like this one, or I thought it was, and I got addicted to it and then left it. I didn't want the same thing to happen.

I was bored, found spamalot, found a home in the forums, and from there it was history.
