I can't seem to be able to do a mafia game moderation job without MAJOR mistakes... Should I give up altogether?

how about you trying playing more before you start modding? Just a suggestion.

Especially if they were all noob games. After looking at your other thread, I'd say you might not want to mod again anytime soon (not that anybody would join). Improve your playing skills and get invited into the good games. And learn learn learn. I've played in over 30 mafia games probably and have never modded one. maybe someday though.

Yeah... I probably am going to be stuck in the "Noob" Mafia games. :(
I guess some of us were NEVER meant for mafia. :(

If you're really that interested in mafia, go to the mafia scum site and play some there to learn.

Yes! That is 2 things I've said that have been quoted. Woohoo! \:D/Back on topic, NES, just take some more time in mafia to become better. It will help.

I agree with wicked 100%. Unfortunatley, you have started playing mafia at a bad time, when newer players donr get as many chances as people that have proven themselves. When I started playing mafia, there were not many new people, so the veterans gave me more leniancy and help. My advice, play some more, try getting into invite-only games, and prove yourself. Agreeing wont get you anywhere, but if you look back and re-read carefully, you can find scumtells. Once you can see scumtells, people will play with you and include you more.

Don't listen to all this negativity. Make masses of mafia games and try to mod them all simultaneously, sooner or later one of them is bound to go right; then everyone will respect you forever and ever amen.

Word.

NES, look at the mafia sticky at the top of the games forum. Links are in the first post. Most good mods will give a noob a chance, as long as you've proven you won't deadbeat. After all, we always need good first day lynch fodder.

Yes, and make them as diverse and obscure as you possibly can, that way you will quickly gain the respect of everyone.

Plus, always post in the club-house forum, notifying everyone of your progress, that way we'll be really well informed.

Don't forget to PM people random people about it too, that way you will recruit new people.

Ya, time has something to do with it. Luckily, I started at the best time. When everyone was n00bs, but Wicked, AK and all those players, that played then. ;) and I played at mafiascum too. ;) Also this is why I was allowed to mod a game relatively early. ;)

cena this is your 4th modded game and you've only played like 5 games. You aren't going to reach my mark of 10 modded games, so don't try. ;)
