Yep, that's right folks. Give the little guys some respect.
Last year: Boise State gave Oklahoma a humbling.
This year: Appalachian State over Michigan
Who's next???

indeed it is a pretty big shock, its hard to think of something that was as big of a upset as this in college football.

WHAT a freakin upset!! AWESOME!!! I was at a pub watching my beloved Hokies play, and we were cheering just as much for Appy State as for the Hokies. Let's not forget Appy State is not even a 1-A school! hahhahaha!!
Where did the summer go? can't believe it's football time already! I'm hoping VT's lackluster performance today was a result of the emotion of the circumstances, and they'll get back in the groove next week against LSU.

App. State is quite an unbeliveable team, if you've paid attention to what use to be I-AA football for the last couple of years. It didn't surprise me.

Who pays attention to I-AA?????? unless you go to one of those schools, no one cares about those little teams. Well I guess Michigan does now!

The question is how much longer before they find a conference to join in Division I? I don't think it will be much longer at the rate they are going.

Well, Wyoming Cowboys just dominated Virginia (30-3 I think) and my old High School, which has been on a several year losing streak steamrolled another school with much the same score.

I'm through with Michigan. Never liked Lloyd Carr much, wanted him out for a few years now, but now, I'm THROUGH with Michigan. What an embarrassment. I'm sickened. I knew this thread would be here. I can't wait for NHL hockey to start back up.

Well, the only bad part about my weekend thus far (though both of my teams pwned the opposition) was that I got a nail stuck into my hand, let's just say (and don't take this in the wrong way), it was easier for it to go in then coming out.

Everyone knew ND would get owned by GT. But I can't even summon the energy to be happy about that. I may never recover from this loss. I actually like the Lions more than the Wolverines right now.

maybe if Charlie Weiss actually let Clausen or Sharpley play before it was over. Demetrius Jones sucks ass!

Theres nothing wrong with having a soft spot for the lions despite the suckitude....I will spend the majority of my young adult life reminiscing about the glory days of gary mohler and despising matt millen.

It could be worse. Indiana has had no real football program since...forever. The only reason we won today is because we played Indiana State.

That's because it's the biggest college football upset of all time.
