Sorry, but when I watch sports, I prefer to watch things like hockey and football, not atheletics, so these two women represent my entire knowledge of women participating in said sport.

I don't remember names but Man the Womens Olympic Beach volleyball had my undivided attention a few years back.

I believe you would have to count swimming as an athletic and no a sport, so in that case I would have to say Amanda Beard.
