Ya, i think this is the end of sony, for being retards on setting such high prices on a damn thing that runs slower than the 360. Still love the company, just wish they made smarter decisions...

, i played both the 360 and the PS3, hell i even compared em at EB games, the motherfucker runs slower then the 360, you can either

Ok, just what games were you playing? I compared Resistance on PS3, to Gears of War on 360, and Resistance ran much, much faster. Especially online.

well i only had access to what EB downloaded

off the top of my head

Motor Storm
Armored Core 4
Virtual Fighter (5 or 4 i forgot where they left off)
and Genji (which was fucking awesome lol)

Most of em took at least 1-2 minutes to load up the actual demo

for what they had on a 360
Virtual Tennis
Guitar Hero 2
Some gardening game...i have no idea

Virtual Tennis took the same amount of time to load maybe even more
the other two i simply clicked and 30 seconds later its loaded up.

The games you listed are pretty rubbish, which is normal for a launch line-up. The real difference will come next year, when developers actually spread their wings.

I think they made the PS3 way too big.

So guys, which should i get? i'm not getting the wii because, while the console is good the games are crap.

For me, I definatley recommend the PS3, but the choice is yours.

Load Times: 360 wins by less than a minute, but feels like minutes

If you don't believe me then ask your local EB games/game stop to put in Fight Night round 3 on both consoles. After playing that game on both consoles you wont mind the wait. Every game I have compared the PS3 with the 360 on it ends up with 360 usually loading a little bit faster and the PS3 playing the games faster. It almost feels like the 360 games are in slow motion. I said to use Fight Night because that's the game I noticed a huge difference in while actually playing the game.

Considering there isn't even a game out yet that can push the PS3 to it's limits or anything even close for that matter I would say the PS3 is a much better buy. The 360 is maxed out at it's limits with a lot of the newer games coming out.

If you're looking for a good console for cheap then definitely go with the 360. If you're not really into games and only play once in a while then the PS3 is overkill.

360, get the 360. Problem with the 360 is the customer service. The pricks...but hey at least it doesn't break often?

Sony isn't just video game consoles, so no this is not the end of sony, smae with microsoft no matter how bad there system is they have the money to prop it up

This is stupid, get a Wii, they both suck. The only reason to get 360 is Halo 3, and there is no reason to get a PS3.

PS3 has no games for it, you can play anything the PS3 can and more on the 360. Also, even if the 360 is struggling with newer games, it doesn't matter, because no ones going to make a game that can only run on the PS3 since barely anyone has one. Anyone who did buy a PS3 just gets pissed off because of how shitty it is and goes on the internet to flame people for their retarded decision.

Wii is a good console, but there arn't many games for it. Zelda seems about it to me, although a good reason to buy it would be to play all the old nintendo 64 games, especially if you had your old 64 destroyed like I did.

FUNFACT: The number one PS3 only game is also compatible for the PS2.

Bioshock just came out for 360 and christ is it good

I said PS3 only game, Oblivions for Xbox to. Judging by your anger, you bought a PS3 for twice as much as an Xbox and then realised its only advantage is a slightly faster framerate.

Ok, we can all bitch and fight about the good games that we could care less about beating in a few years. If we take a minute and think about what amazing... well, lets go with fps... what amazing fps has rocked our world that has come out between 2000-2005, Halo and Halo 2 to start out. they are probably the first games that will come to mind. Doom 3 is another. Anyone remember any else? I don't think there was anything that stuck out in those 5 years.
