I've not watches these yet, but any of you seen the Banshee video. Some people tested it, and it could actually fly into space as Bungie said it woould be able to. So cool. The videos on YouTube somewhere, Ill try to get you the link later on.

another reason i don't like halo 2:
the no death from falling is absolute bullshit. in Halo: First Strike, a few Spartans died from a fall from a Pelican dropship..it should stay that way..

yeah I know, but the halo books are just halo fiction, and aren't directly tied to the games, and there are things in the books that I wish were incorporated into the games but they just won't happen

still, bullshit. there is absolutely no way to NOT get damaged from a fall with just armor and shields.

The MC is lucky remember and they also had some nifty functions in the armour to help them survive

if this was any other game advertisement, i'd shoot you, but its Halo 3!

Did they mention if there was some way to post your saved videos online?

I remember reading about that in a magazine it was saying how it would open up all sorts of strategie possiblities by viewing enemy matches and also a lot of machima series would probably be started

I'm going practice up on legendary halo 2 to get preped or perhaps just play on live for a while

been awhile since i played campaign mode on H2...think i got stuck on the level where you kill one of the prophets

yep there is a way


and saved films will kick ass in campaign, think about it, play a mission on 4 player coop with your friends, and then watch it again at different angles and make it all badass, then save it, and put it on the internet.

In the books, they only died from "falling" on hot drops. In other words, they were being dropped from thousands of feet in the air. Master Chief only falls (without protection) about a max of 60 feet maybe, without dying. So if only a few of many die when falling from thousands of feet in the air, I'm pretty sure MC can suffer falling from 20 feet in the air.
