The problem is that when they get caught they are not remorseful. They do their time and get on with their pedophilia. At least this way their faces are broadcasted into every home for us to know them, and it should embarass them enough not to do it again.

They aren't actually hurting anybody though, that's the problem. One of the guys who came actually never even got out of his car, but he was still charged and his face was shown on national television. Another guy went up to the door, waited a bit, and then tried to leave, but the cops that were hiding came and busted him. Its one thing to arrest someone for molesting an eight year old, but humiliating someone in front of their entire country because they wanted to have sex with a hot 15 year old is fucking stupid and just goes to show how fucked up Americas justice system is.

Oh man. In no way is the justice system perfect. It's not perfect anywhere. Get a DUI here, and you lose your liscence, perhaps your car, and pay hefty fines. Other countries range from a simple fine, imprisonment of you and your significant other, or a firing squad, to name a few. So which is best!?

That right there is cruel and unusual punishment. As long as the supreme court sees it constitutional then there is nothing we can do. They need help, Chris Hanson is going to get some pissed off pedophiles who did not want their faces to be shown on TV kicking his ass. There is a fine line between informative and entertainment. They give all the information about the arrested guys they want. A show like cops is at least polite enough not to tell names and other personal information that people can use to harass and blackmail these people.
