I got a magnet too close to the monitor and now it's all discolored. Am I screwed or can it be fixed?
P.S. It's impossible to tell the armies apart in games. It's really frustrating!

put it near again and try wiggling it about until it goes right again. thats what i did with my TV

There is a device called a deguassing coil. Keep it away from your hard drive, but turn it on and wave it around in front ofthe screen and it'll clear it right up.

How did you get that magnet so close to the monitor? I mean, it hardly sounds like an accident, more like a "I bet you don't dare...".

Actually if you just hold a magnet in your hand absent mindedly...
