What do you think will be Taliban's next move?

Well, I live in NYC and I have to admit that everyday I step on a subway or on a bus or a crowded market, I do get a little bit nervous. Hearing the recent news that the Taliban has been successfully rebuilding in Pakistan is very unnerving. The fact that we have a complete wanker in office too makes me nervous. I am always asking myself, where will they attack next?

I know NY is a huge bullseye because of the population. The subways system is still easily accessible and the security is atrocious. I just came back from vacation and I walked into the subway and transferred between 3 different trains with a huge suitcase without being questioned once. So I believe an attack on the subways is not out of the question.

Or how about the New York pipelines. A friend of mine told me that one of his friend's fathers worked for the city and told him that if terrorist got access to the underground pipelines with all the gas going around the city, they would be able to blow up the entire city (I don't know how valid this is but definitely makes me think).

I truly believe there will be another attack in the future, Taliban tends to lull you to sleep and attack when you least expect it.

So where and when do you think the next attack will be?

Burmingham Alabama.

Seriously, after 9-11 everybody was afraid of having a plane come crashing through their house, even the pricks who lived in suburbia. It was stupid.

The next attack will be a US Embassy somewhere in the Middle East.

Yer, the Taliban and Al-Qaeda are two different organisations. Taliban are almost solely in Afghanistan. Al-Qaeda is the organisation headed by Bin Laden which is branched out internationally.

Well, tbh, I'll think Baghdad, seeing that Al-Qaeda are attacking western forces in Iraq. Theres car bombs and attacks everyday, and at least once a week one of those will be from Al-Qaeda.

Against proper western targets, do you count the attempts inthe UK which are connected to Al-Qaeda by funding, but purpetrated by individuals as an attack by Al-Qaeda?

As for a proper attack organised solely by Al-Qaeda, its probably going to be against a US target, but I have the feeling it will be on US soil, not overseas.

I am curious to see if they will be able to make nuclear weapons and at some point used nuclear weapons against US or UK.

I tell you what I'm afraid of most...

Some bitter, pseudo-liberal parking attendant (a job spawned by an anti-industry government) slapping a 60 quid fine on my motor for parking on a road that I pay my fooking road-tax for.

That, and health and safety regulations and red-tape...

Sends the fooking wind up me :?

They will attempt to change the constitution so Bush can be reelected a second time.

Nothing like a few wars to unite your enemies.

It is practically impossible to prevent terrorist attacks without seriously limiting and disrupting citizens daily lives, which is what the bombers want. The chances of actually being hurt in an attack are incredibly slight so the best advice is to take sensible precautions but otherwise just get on with your life.

1.The Taliban are still holding Korean hostages at Afghanistan and they demand MONEY for the hostages. So after this big profit they might buy more desrtuctive weapons and plot attacks against their "enemies", which is mostly USA.
2.Even though the Taliban hold a grudge against some Western countires, they may be provoked to attack or take hostage of other people such as non-Muslim Asians. Anybody they think that is worth to be used for threatening could be a target.
3.Any other moves by the Taliban is anyone's guess.

How will they make nuclear weapons? They will have to purchase or steal them. There is no way they could create them without detection.
