Some people may not agree with the war, but I don't see how they can withhold support for the people who are risking their lives over there right now.

thats a good movie...and i think you have liberals pinned wrong mate,
im a hardcore liberal...i am opposed to the war...but I DO support our troops and I DO support America and even though I am a liberal I am considering joining up the Marines next springtime and offering myself up for service even though I have a very promising Psychiatry future ahead of me making a good $100,000 a year but I am willing to give that up for our country so dont catagorize all liberals in the same boat just because we oppose war, we still support America and Americas finest in the army, marines, navy and airforce

I have a problem with the war in IRAQ because it was unjustified and had no connections with 9/11. I support American troops in Iraq though, because they did not choose to go to war, and they just do what the idiots in the white house tell them too.

I do, however, support the war in Afghanistan because it is a perfectly justified war that isn't about oil.

I have to be honest....I'm not a red-blooded american, but I thought I would still like this... but I was expecting something a little different.

It was a crock of shite. When I need some rapper-man shouting random shit at me to convince me that a war is a good idea, then it is a sad state of affairs.

Not particularly what I would call convincing...but I suppose that was the point, eh?

I thank you, at least someone can look aside from my democratic views and see me as an American rather than a liberal opposed to the government

As Hecter said, 9/11 has nothing to do with Iraq. I support all of the western soldiers in Afghanistan, but not in Iraq as it was illegal and none of the original motives (WMD's) were true.

I think whether you commit 2, 4, or 20+ years, you'll always look back on your time in the military with pride.
The one thing that I will always miss that I believe cannot be achieved in civilian life is the comradery that you have with your shipmates (in my case) or fellow soldiers.
It is unmatched.
It's been 15 years since I got out and I still think of the guys I served with & wonder how they're doing just about every day.

So... he's not bad at rapping, but why do you think this will silence those liberal, freedom-hating, america-bashing, anti-government, radical, left-wing, puppy-killing, baby-eating, dope-smoking, pinko commies?

btw, I hope everyone sarcasm meter kicked in no later than "freedom-hating".

I couldn't understand what he was saying, but will this video silence anti-war conservatives as well as the anti-war liberals?

I'm not really sure what that was ment to do, I do support the war in afganistan but I do not see what that was ment to do to silence opposers. It was just some guy shouting about going to war, somthing that the people on the other side are doing, protecting their nation against a huge ivasion force from the other side of the planet

I'm sick of this war. I'm sick of my countries involvement in the war.

I hate the fact that we are fighting some battle that has absolutley nothing to do with Britain...I wish we could just pull out our troops and let the arabs and the israeli's slaughter each other...I dont want to hear their bigoted, medievel backward BS anymore. It has fook all to do with me, fook all to do with the tax I pay, fook all to do with my security, fook all to do with my country and more importantly fook all to do with my beliefs.

Abrahamic religion is a poisonous and dangerous mindset, and one that I feel comforted in knowing that I do not possess.

Aye. I always despised traitors no matter what nation the were betrying. Take Oscar Schindler for instance. Ok, he didn't agree with the reasons why his country was fighting the war. But did that give him the right to manufacture bad ammo for the troops that were dying on the Russian and other fronts in an effort to win a better, arian future for him and all Germans? That traitor makes me sick! Doesn't he make you sick too, FiveThreeEight? C'mon all of you who love your country and support your troops, give me hearthly: "Oscar Schindler was a terrible person!"

In some ways i agree, but now we've already attacked, pulling out is the worst thing we can do. If Iraq collapses any more we will have a new surge of terrorists, not to mention a huge civel war which we were responsable for.

At the moment we need to stay, admit we made a cock up, and try to clean up our mess behind us before we leave

Leaving now may cause more deaths than it prevents for all nationalities, and it won't be soldiers that are dying

I diagree with you here...

Iraq isn't going to collapse, it is big enough to look after itself, and who are we to dictate to them what the will of their people is, and what is best for them?

The idea of a civil war in Britain is laughable, and the idea that Britain is likely to suffer civilian casualties as a result of pulling out of this war is the same.

Of course, I'm making a very, very bold assumption here......that our government (and the machination behind it ) doesn't want to put us in a vulnerable situation, so as to alter the consensus of the nations feelings about our occupation in said war.

What always seems to be missing from niave war commentators is the bigger picture, from the point of view of the global leaders.

There are so many reasons why they need this war to continue, as it is forever gripping the worlds fears, thus leading us (the masses) to be brought under control.....This war gives our governments reason to bring in tighter and tighter human regulation, that is one day going to end in our civil liberties and human rights non-existent....

It sends the wind up me.

As the old saying goes: "Don't do the crime, if you can't kill all the witnesses." [-X Besides, it would be kind of stupid for Bush to pull out of the war now and admit that tousands of people have died for no good reason. It's not like voters consider moral fiber and responsibility vital characterists for their leader. Choosing Presidents that way would require a LOT of thinking. Nope, the war on terror must go on untill terror apologizes. [-(

Oh come on, what the hell does supporting the troops even mean?

I hate this I think the war is wrong but I'll support the troops attitude, probably more than I hate the the war is right attitude.

No I don't want tons of American soldiers to die, but that doesn't mean I think it's ok for them to kill people from other countries. Anyone who's in the army and willingly complies with what's going on is doing wrong. They have the benefit of extenuating circumstances but that's about it.

This video tries to negate the argument by appealing to a blind patriotic desire. What is a country and what makes it worth fighting for?

Fight for what's good if you must, but when a country ceases to represent good and actively does bad, then stop fighting for it or else you're stupid(misled) or "evil".
