Toilet Water

I've always wondered -

You know when you flush the toilet and the boiler starts making a noise.

And then you go to wash your hands.

Well, when you turn the tap on the boiler goes quiet.

Does anyone else worry that the reason it went quiet was because the toilet water you just flushed away is now coming out of the sink?

No. Otherwise the water out of the tap would be discolored.

I've thought about this too

I know. It just makes me wonder.
It's nice to know I'm not alone.

I agree.
All the effort they used to hide the "Club Forum" was wasted.

this has never even crossed my mind, until now i read about it. even then i know it's impossible. however, i do worry about the toilet clogging up, particularly the ones in hotels and other people's houses, where the flushes seem like it can barely "choke down" pee.

Never even thought about it... What would be so bad about it anyway?

Would the department responsible for tap water and toilet water actually allow this? They could be sued you know.

If you use warm water then the boiler does make a noise. My toilet is the other side of my house to the boiler, so I have no clue when its making a noise when I'm in the toilet.

I know that it's actually impossible, but it still makes me think.
Maybe they do it to cut down on water usage.
 Maybe they will have to do it in the future!
