Victims of Christian church-organised abuse who have been awarded payouts compensating them for the trauma they suffered, have reported that the process of claiming the payouts has itself left them traumatised:

Should they now be given extra compensation to make up for the damage inflicted on them by their receipt of the original compensation?

You apparently didn't even read the article you posted. But, yeah, let's make light of people who were abused by the clergy. That'll be a hoot!

It's what he does.

Don't empower his idiocy.....and if you have a loved one suffering or dying, don't bring that up either as it's a favorite target too

Sad, really. I expect karma to come around.....

You apparently didn't even read the OP you replied to.

Wow, telling people they're wrong without any explanation is both easy AND fun. Thanks for the inspiration!

The article was not about people feeling traumatized for being paid as you said it was. It was about all the BS they've had to go through to get paid. It was about having to reach out to the same entity that abused them in order to get paid. Which seems pretty freaking awful.

If "Should they now be given extra compensation to make up for the damage inflicted on them by their receipt of the original compensation?" was not intended to make light of their current situation, then you should figure out a better way to say what you mean.

Doesn't really matter. According to basically everyone, you're an a-hole and I shouldn't have bothered to engage you. You may have the last word as I will be moving on now.

I said that they were traumatized by the process of claiming the payouts. detlef reading comprehension score: Fail.

If by 'everyone' you mean 'KB', the guy who mostly posts about the acts of violence he fantasizes about committing against people who wrong him.
