Charlie, Snoopy and the gang...Who doesn't love PEANUTS...Other than major networks....I think Apple plus owns the rights to .... Peanuts....The Holiday Peanuts movies....I don't think they will be shown this year....Bill Gates let them to be shown on PBS last year...As they are shown , or have been every year...On the regular T.V. Network s...CBS etc.... tradition......But leave it to America,American companies, to stop showing Charles Schulz work...On regular T.V./cable....The year he turns 100....Sad... America.... ... Actually young kids like Snoopy cause he’s cute… but most don;t give a flying crap about the rest of the Peanuts.

They were entertaining for their time but that time has passed.

Apple bought the rights to show the Peanuts holiday specials this year.

That ol' liberal was one of the first comics to integrate and show a Black character as just a member of the strip. It caused apoplectic fits for the old racists, whom we hoped would have died out by now.

----------------------- ABC had the rights from 2001 A.D. to 2020 A.D.
----------------------- Apple/Bill Gates bought the rights on October 20th, 2020 A.D....In 2020 A.D. and 2021 A.D. Bill Gates allowed PBS to air the Peanut Specials....You think he would of kept the tradition of free air Charlie Brown...Just one more time for Schulz's 100th Birthday.... Turning over in his grave , you can hear Charlie Shultz/Brown , "GOOD GRIEF, Gates, GOOD GRIEF, thanks for the birthday wishes..."........ PBS is free as far as I know.

They do solicit donations but you can watch the station without having to donate.

--------- Not PBS,ABC,CBS... Regular Broadcasting...Yes PBS is Public Broadcasting.....But they still need Bill Gates permission to air Peanuts/Charlie Brown Holiday specials...For the children... Billionaire Gates has become...Miser Gates....You have to pay kids...If you want to see American Holiday Classics...Think of all the children during the pandemic that didn't have computers at home during the lockdown.... People might have basic cable or the Government box, or a regular special antenna, that picks up the basic ABC,CBS,NBC,PBS channels....For the children Billy, for the children....... ------------ One thing is...I know rights are sold here and there.....Micky Mouse is going to become Public Domain in 2024 A.D....A few years ago Happy Birthday the song became public domain.... Charlie Brown will probably become Public Domain around 2060 A.D...I don't know how long Happy Birthday song was owned...Does that mean say Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson , etc... songs will become Public Domain around 2050 A.D. 2080 A.D.???
