It was revealed yesterday during Alex Jones' Sandy Hook trial that Alex's attorney accidentally sent all data from his personal phone(every text sent/received from that phone for 2 years) to the opposing attorney.

When Alex Jones though they were 'off camera' he asked the attorney ' you mean you have all the texts, even the ones with the senator?'

Today the Jan 6 committee officially requested the information... Somewhere a senator (probably the one Saxi would simp for) is shitting his pants.

New York (CNN Business)A Texas jury has decided to penalize Alex Jones with $45.2 million in punitive damages in a lawsuit filed by the parents of Sandy Hook shooting victim Jesse Lewis.

Plaintiffs Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis were awarded a total of just under $50 million in both compensatory and punitive damages. Of the total $49.3 million, the $45.2 million in punitive damages may be reduced due to Texas statute.
"Care and concern is so important and we saw what happens when there is a dearth of that, and so I hope that we all just go home tonight and everybody that's reading these articles and hearing this message and you chose love with your kids, because you can," Lewis said Friday after learning of the jury's decision. "That means being present in the moment with them, looking into their eyes, giving them a hug and just moving from there. Just every moment, realize that you have a choice and your choice is love."
The jurors began deliberating around 12:30 pm CT on Friday, after Judge Maya Guerra Gamble reminded them that in a default judgment against him Jones was already found liable for defamation and "intentional infliction of emotional distress" against Lewis and Heslin.

It is widely known in GOP circles that Alex Jones has been having an affair with Texas Governor Ted Cruz's wife. It was in an Amazon documentary, three people who watched it in early access got depression but then the FBI took all the tapes and classified them.

The punitive damages will get cut to $750,000 on appeal, which is the maximum allowed by statute in Texas (the jury isn't permitted to be informed of the statutory maximum when deciding on the award).

So, after appeal, Jones will end up paying about $5 million total in compensatory and punitive damages ... not $45.2 million as the jury awarded.

To put that in perspective, two months ago someone just randomly gave $8 million in Bitcoin as a gift to Alex Jones. This trial is turning into a net moneymaker for Jones; donations to his fictitious legal defense fund will exceed his actual expenses.

Jones needs the dimwitted left to go after him so the dimwitted right will send checks to defend him. It's a Left-Right team effort that's ballooning AJ's bank account bigger than it's ever been. Anyone who thinks he's somehow cowed, scared, or bleeding money is just another mark for Jones who is, at the end of the day, an incredibly skilled charlatan laughing all the way to the bank. Next time he will be sued in Alabama or other state permitting larger fines and penalties for such matters.

Jones resides and does business in Texas. What jurisdiction would an Alabama court have?

And, even if they did, Alabama caps punitive damages at something like $500K so they'd be even worse off than in Texas.

Defamation lawsuits are a net win for Jones. It will never cost him more than a few million in damages which is essentially just marketing spend; probably a better ROI than buying billboards or bus ads. Plus, it gives him a proof point for his persecution narrative - that he's the most dangerous man in American whom the establishment is trying to silence - which keeps the flock loyal.

Trump-Jones 2024?

The Trump/Jones relationship is purely transactional. In a close election, Trump needs Jones to mobilize his base, while Jones benefits from touching the hem of Trump's cape. It's no different than how the Biden regime courts leftist conspiracy theorists by coordinating their campaign with the Palmer Report or Occupy Democrats. Bill Palmer's influence ends on Election Day.

Remember, progressives used to line up to go on Alex Jones' show during the Bush regime. How many InfoWars episodes did Cindy Sheehan appear on? Or that one lawyer who kept ranting that Bush was on the verge of being prosecuted and jailed and sold a gajillion copies of his book saying as much to doe-eyed progressives from Marin County. This was two weeks ago. After he exits the courtroom he sees a camera crew, stops, gets out a theatrical prop to wear to walk 10 feet before taking it off again.

The duct tape isn't even handwritten or even duct tape --- it's surgical tape with an adhesive back, custom colored silver to mimic the appearance of duct tape and professionally screen printed with a designed font face. Jones knew this lawsuit was a marketing opportunity for his show and he used it as that. After the trial, his show will have even more viewers than it did before, and he'll be even wealthier than when he went into it. It's hilarious watching the left beat their chests as though they've scored some kind of victory.

Also I'm guessing the large Neanderthal-looking guys wearing camp shirts are bodyguards. He has no fewer than three bodyguards with him. That means he probably has a full protection detail of at least 13 guys. If he can drop $2.7 MM a year to an executive protection service for personal security, he basically has a bottomless pit of cash.

Several defamation lawyers said they were skeptical that the parents will be able to get around the cap.
