How do you pronounce the word 'Gouache'? I've never actually heard anyone say it out loud, and I was surprised when someone said the word.

I don't recall hearing it pronounced correctly. Even though I might have heard it in art class. If I had it got by me.

I would have went with go ending with shh.

When I searched for the definition of the word, there was a link to allow you to hear the word pronounced; I think it was by the Oxford Dictionary. To me, it sounded like "ɡwäSH"

gouache
/ɡwäSH,ɡo͞oˈäSH/
Learn to pronounce
noun
a method of painting using opaque pigments ground in water and thickened with a gluelike substance.
opaque watercolor of the type used in gouache painting.
a picture painted using the gouache method.
plural noun: gouaches

Or, try this:

OR, have FUN and pretend it is another word :D  :o  =D>

The French (and it's a French word after all) sounds like something between the two...
'goo-osh'.
