As an Army guy myself - Reservist - we are stronger for being more diverse. We welcome in and take in more people. This allows us more points of view, more stability, and, importantly, more manpower.

And f*ck it, more womenpower and more nonbinarypower. Yeah, I am a bleeding heat libcuck and fucking proud of it and my country for being more inclusive! This is always what made us strong! We take in anyone and absorb them into us, making them feel welcome and like they can express themselves!

The entire withdraw from Afghanistan was mismanaged and there is PLENTY of blame to go around TO LOTS of persons and (bad) "Leaders." Over time, that will be analyzed and we will learn insights as memoirs in books are written and government documents are released. How much to assign blame to ONE person (Milley) may be a tradition to offer a scapegoat to "bear the blame of many" but is not always justified. A military leader must be willing to take the blame for his decisions and the results of his actions and/or device.

The key questions are:
1) What did Milley and the rest of the JCS recommend? and
2) What exact orders were given by civilians above the JCS (Sec. of Defense and possibly by Biden, and by conjecture, his key advisors)?

Biden and Obama SHOULD have led a withdraw of Afghanistan after bin Laden was found and killed; instead, we stay for some 10 years beyond. Trump started to pull out significant number of troops. We had no real reason to stay, despite the "claims of fighting terrorism" there.
